We had a wonderful day with Mario. We started with a nature and sloth hike at Bijagua Ranas. So beautiful! We saw so many birds, sloths, and interesting wildlife and plants. We then hiked the Parque Nacional Volcan Tenorio. It was an amazing hike with beautiful waterfall and blue water. Mario planned a white water tubing trip afterwards on Rio Celeste and we enjoyed delicious fruit and then a wonderful traditional lunch at a great restaurant with a butterfly garden. Mario planned an outstanding day for the 6 of us! I feel lucky we found Mario! Highly recommend!
This was a great excursion. Jorge was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. The hot springs and waterfalls were amazing.

Magical day trip with Jorge!
Oh my goodness, this was one of the best days of our entire trip! Jorge provided such a special and personalized service: door to door transportation for each activity, surprise stops along the way for photo opportunities and coffee, and of course confident (and speedy) driving. Eduardo was our sloth sanctuary guide (private tour), his knowledge and love for the jungle flora and fauna made our experience magical and educational. We saw sloths in many trees and had Supreme luck: a sloth taking her weekly "rest stop" right on the trail! We also were able to catch views of toucan, motnot birds, and tiger heron. Eduardo "played" the tree root bongos for us, swoon! After breakfast (another surprise location!) We had yet another private guided experience tubing the Rio Celeste. The aquamarine water and jungle around us made for a memorable time. Alex took many photos and videos for us with his gopro, so leave your phone safely on land. We finished our day with all the fresh fruit we could eat and a relaxing drive through the countryside to our next hotel. 100 stars 🌟 I'll never forget this awesome day trip!
Our tour with Jorge in Costa Rica was nothing short of magical. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to craft an incredible experience for us—on short notice, no less!
We began with a private hike through a beautiful nature sanctuary, guided by the knowledgeable and kind Edwardo. He brought the rainforest to life, pointing out sloths (up close!), toucans, tiger herons, and vibrant poison dart frogs. His deep knowledge of the local flora and fauna made the experience even more special. After our hike, Jorge had a surprise in store—breakfast in a peaceful garden filled with stunning butterflies. It was a breathtaking, serene moment that left us in awe.
Next, Jorge took us to Río Celeste, where we met Alex, our tubing guide. The cerulean waters were just as incredible as we’d imagined! We floated through thrilling rapids, took a break at a swimming hole for cliff jumps and a rope swing, and even enjoyed a natural mud bath in the mineral-rich waters. Every moment was filled with adventure and laughter.
Throughout the day, Jorge was kind, funny, and incredibly accommodating, making sure we had the best experience possible. He’s an excellent driver—occasionally speedy, but always making us feel safe! The day wrapped up with fresh fruit and big smiles, a perfect ending to an unforgettable journey. As he drove us back to our hotel in Coco Beach, I couldn’t help but drift off to sleep, completely content after the most perfect day. We can’t recommend Jorge enough—he truly made our Costa Rica adventure one to remember!
